Monday Poem II

I understand your wrath, I would be mad too,

I say this even though I’m guilty too,

All I can do is ask forgiveness of you,

And pray for others so they can have forgiveness because we know not what we do.

We are on earth lost refusing to look at the bible which is this world’s road map,

Still we fall into the devil’s trap,

From the start of time we were addicted to sin,

I’m addict now and Adam addicted then,

If you don’t believe me look at the history of men.

I’m just trying to have hope and hold on,

So that my faith can provide me peace when things go wrong,

I need God because to tell the truth me by myself I have never been that strong.

I’m just waking up; I have been denial for oh so long.

Let me read my map so I will have good footing even on shaky ground

Let me ask God for advice because the tongues of men always let me down.

Let the Holy Ghost give me wisdom so I can make choices that are sound.
